Running Through the Words

The floorplans of most houses are static, but such is not the case when it comes to 519 Copper Drive. The old farmhouse, located in Lake Caywood, Pennsylvania, has an enchanting history that needs to be told. A patchwork of lives and stories, the house chooses to articulate its past to Magnolia Fitzpatrick. Acting as a thread to a woven cast of characters, Nol finds herself tangled in a web of relationships that are as complex as the farmhouse-turned-brewery and its magical rooms. In addition to falling in love with the building and all its charm, Nol finds herself drawn to Juli Singer, a partial owner of the Brewhaha. Moving at a maddeningly slow pace, Juli’s previous heartaches prevent him from jumping into something new, making it challenging to blend past with present. As Juli endeavors to merge old with new, Nol’s almost-brother, Sebastian Porter, finds himself doing the same with his own relationships. His best friend, Bert Robinson, is unexpectedly diagnosed with breast cancer, causing the bandmates to return to Lake Caywood for treatment. Further complicating the situation, a photo surfaces of the two sharing an intimate moment and the men feel pressure to define their relationship within societal standards. Lucy Campbell, Bas’s long-time girlfriend, is also thrown for a loop when the image of her boyfriend kissing his best friend goes viral. Running Through the Words poses the question: can the complexity of relationships be defined by a single word?
